!! WARNING
My blogpost contains the most cheesy tumblrish poem/quote you will ever read, sorry in advance but I felt like the idea is too accurate and important not to share

An Exquisite ParadoxSo, I understand 100% if someone may think this is ridiculous, but that is because we all have stuck in our minds that we control our future, we know what's going to happen tomorrow, so we plan ahead and fret and ETC ( for things like your future studies, universities, of course plan ahead when YOU chose the moment, instead of breaking down and crying when you are out clothes-shopping with your mum), BUT the truth is we don't control ANYTHING. Unexpected things and seizing the chance may be more rare for some, but they do and will happen to you and they can either make your life ten times better or just cause a bigger problem.
ANYWAYS, if one follows the concept of not being physically or mentally able to control the future, one sees how important it is to live in the moment = right in the moment. This does not mean spontaneously jumping of a cliff or taking some sort of dodgy pills one night, it means not worrying about a math test when you are out on a walk, it means to not think about anything except the beautiful things that are literally surrounding you, whether it's just your favorite people, big trees crowning over you into a blue sky, stars, or a nice Indian take-out ; "look up" and admire. There is a time to worry and to ask yourself questions about the past or future, but don't let these thoughts haunt you ( life is too short), live your life in the present and appreciate the things around you (we never actually know how long we will have them) .
