Ok, let’s say you are yourself and let’s says you’ll live 75 years (26000 days).
Well, I’m sorry to tell you this but…
* You will spend 25 years of your life sleeping (33% of your life) and 7 years waiting to fall asleep
( 9%).
* You’ll spend 7 years of your life (9%) with your eyes shut (blinking your eyes!).
* For 5 months you’ll complain (or 1 year if your name is Lou).
* You’ll watch TV for 8 years!! (10%).
* Most of us will spend 5 years on our phone (7%) , although it might be way more since I’m only
counting if you spend 2 hours per day.
Well if you add all this, you find out that you “waste” 50 years (17000 days) of your life (65%)!!
And I’m not even counting the time you spend at school, on the toilet, showering, eating, waiting
for your train… AND you’ll spend 93 percent of your life locked in your home!!
Well, I hope I haven’t made you depressed ; I was kind of hoping not too but more to make you
realize that you need to enjoy your life because during your last 25 years you’ll have 27 days of
pure romance, 115 days of laughing (might be wayyyy more for me, thanks to my amazing
friends), 2 years socializing with your friends and family and 4 years dreaming!!!
In your 25 years of pure life (9000 days) you could climb 16 times Mount Everest, walk up the
Empire State building 590 times and run the circumference of the world 0.7 times!!
So just live your life and don’t forget that life’s too short to hold back!!
